Amanda Keller
McGill University
Amanda Keller (MSc) is a Vanier scholar and adjunct instructor at McGill University, bringing a wealth of experience as a seasoned clinician and staunch advocate for social justice. Her commitment to reforming mental health and foster care systems is grounded in rigorous research and evidence-based advocacy as well as her lived experience. Amanda co-founded CARE Jeunesse, a Montreal-based nonprofit providing essential peer support to foster children. She also contributes as a board member at the Centre for Research on Children & Families (CRCF), McGill University, and she recently completed her term with the executive committee for the International Research Network on Transitions to Adulthood from Care (INTRAC). She has ongoing research collaborations with Rutgers University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the University of Winnipeg. Amanda is planning to submit her dissertation during fall 2024.
