Anaïs Cadieux Van Vliet

Anaïs Cadieux Van Vliet coordinates the Advisory Committees of the Canadian Consortium on Child and Youth Trauma (CCYT). In this capacity, they support community members (namely former youth in care and kinship or adoptive parents) who lend their expertise to guide CCYT research and trauma-informed initiatives. As a doctoral candidate in the faculty of Social Work at McGill University, their research explores the experiences and service needs of siblings impacted by child sexual abuse. More broadly, their academic work centers often forgotten young people (including siblings) in contexts of family violence, building on participatory research principles.
