David Lindenbach

David Lindenbach, PhD is a Senior Research Scientist at the Pathways to Prevention Centre at Hull Services in Calgary. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at University of Calgary and an Associate Member of the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education and the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. He is leading the development of a new research centre at Hull Services that focuses of the prevention and treatment of developmental trauma. His work brings together academic researchers and community practitioners to perform rigorous applied research in real-world settings. He strongly believes in collaborative and transdisciplinary approaches to research. David’s current areas of focus include: adapting transdiagnostic interventions for youth involved with child welfare, evaluating the impact of therapeutic recreation programs, and supporting the wellness of the child welfare workforce.
