Isabelle Ouellet-Morin, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the School of Criminology at the Université de Montréal, and holds the Canada Research Chair in the developmental origins of vulnerability and resilience. Dr. Ouellet-Morin investigates the genetic, neurophysiological, and socioemotional mechanisms by which early adversity affects vulnerability to mental health problems and antisocial behavior. Dr. Ouellet-Morin is the co-director of the Centre Axel – a technological intelligence accelerator in mental health – where she supports the development and validation of new technologies to prevent and reduce mental health, as well as promoting resilience in the face of adversity.
