Jelena Komanchuk

Jelena Komanchuk, PhD, RN is a pediatric nurse and postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia in the Okanagan. With the support of UBCO, Michael Smith Health Research BC, and SSHRC postdoctoral fellowships, and the mentorship of Dr. Elizabeth Keys and Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina, she is leading research to better understand and promote the sleep health of children and families in foster and kinship care. Her research is centered in meaningful community engagement and collaborations with researchers and clinicians across diverse disciplines.
