Jessica Côté-Guimond

Placed in youth protection care from the age of 10 to 18, Jessica has been moved more than twenty times. Today, she is a master's candidate at the École nationale d'administration publique, research profile, has a bachelor's degree in psychoeducation and is also the director and co-founder of the Collectif Ex-Placé DPJ. She is actively involved in improving the system and gaining recognition for the experiential knowledge of former foster children. She specializes in issues related to child welfare, the transition to adulthood, peer intervention, peer support, youth participation and, above all, the recognition of experiential knowledge. An idea generator and bearer of hope, she works to develop collaborations to better support young people.
