Martine Hébert, PhD, holds the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Interpersonal Traumas and Resilience and is co-holder of the Marie-Vincent Interuniversity Chair on Child Sexual Abuse. She also leads the Sexual Violence and Health Research Team (ÉVISSA), and is a member of the Interdisciplinary Research Center on Intimate Relationship Problems and Sexual Abuse (CRIPCAS). She is a Full Professor in the Department of Sexology at the Université du Québec à Montréal where she leads a research lab whose program of research focuses on child sexual abuse and adolescent dating violence and aims to identify the protective factors contributing to trajectories of resilience in youth experiencing trauma. She is also implementing and testing the effects of TF-CBT in a CAC setting, and different programs designed to prevent sexual abuse (Lantern, Empreinte) and dating violence (Sparx).
