Centre d’étude sur le trauma

Co-directed by Dr. Stéphane Guay, psychologist, and Dr. Steve Geoffrion, PhD, the Centre d’étude sur le trauma (CET) is based on collaboration between researchers, stakeholders, students, and trainees from various disciplines such as psychology, criminology, psychiatry, neurobiology, and occupational health and safety. The objectives of the CET are :

• To develop knowledge on the assessment, prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD);

• To promote and disseminate knowledge related to PTSD.

• To innovate to better prevent, treat, and rehabilitate people exposed to potentially traumatic events.
