CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches

The CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches is responsible for maintaining and improving the health and well-being of the population of Region 12, thanks to nearly 14,000 employees and 800 doctors. It comprises nearly a hundred facilities in 136 municipalities, including 4 hospitals; 28 long-term care facilities (CHSLDs) and 5 private CHSLDs; 3 seniors' and alternative care homes; 23 CLSCs; 1 birthing center; 2 university family medicine groups (GMF-U); nearly fifty facilities adapted to specific needs: specialized services for youth, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, dependency and seniors' services; and 5 local points of service. The teams also work in patients' homes, schools and family medicine groups.
