INESSS

The Institut national d'excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS) was created on January 19, 2011. Succeeding the Conseil du médicament and the Agence d'évaluation des technologies et des modes d'intervention en santé (AETMIS), its mission is to promote clinical excellence and the effective use of resources in the health, social services, and mental health sectors. INESSS aims to be an essential reference to inform decisions and practices. It carries out its mission with respect for the values of excellence, independence, openness, scientific rigour, transparency, probity, and equity towards those who use health and social services, while taking into account its resources.
