IUJD

The Institut universitaire Jeunes en difficulté (IUJD), which is affiliated with the Université de Montréal and the Université du Québec, is dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving practices regarding youth experiencing difficulty. The Institute brings together a research center, a center of expertise, a methodological support team, and a team dedicated to knowledge dissemination, transfer, and uptake. The programming of the research center (45 researchers) is built around four axes: a) victimization and abuse, b) behavioural disorders and delinquency, c) resilience and social integration, d) professional practices and public systems. IUJD contributes to the achievement of the university mission by supporting research, teaching, and evaluation activities, as well as by developing cutting-edge practices.
