Ronak, a Kurdish Iranian woman who immigrated to Canada at a young age, is the Coordinator of Project 5 of the CCCYT: Training and Teaching Modules. She is deeply committed to advocating for social justice through research, practice, and education, leveraging her proficiency in multiple languages. Ronak has an extensive track record of working with various communities and non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Isfahan and a Master's degree in Gender and Social Justice from McMaster University. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Social Work at McGill University under the supervision of Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina, focusing her research on trauma and recovery among young West Asian migrant women in Canada.
