Sarah Tarshis

Sarah Tarshis is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at McGill University School of Social Work. She has over a decade of social work practice experience and has worked for several community-based organizations in Canada and the United States. Sarah’s research is informed by her practice and centers on intimate partner violence (IPV) and access to services, and trauma-informed practice. She is also interested in the use of simulation in teaching and research in social work education and was previously a postdoc fellow in simulation-based research at Carleton University. Sarah has a small private practice where she sees individuals and couples in Montreal.
