Shannon Hurley

Shannon Hurley, MPA, is Manager of Family and Gender-Based Violence Prevention at the Public Health Agency of Canada. In this role Ms. Hurley provides policy analysis and advice, and leads the design and administration of funding programs that address family and gender-based violence from a health perspective. Her work supports community-based projects that incorporate intervention research to learn and share effective approaches. This work also supports initiatives that build the capacity of health and social service providers to recognize and respond safely to family and gender-based violence.
